Azerbaijan, this year. The summit, which was held in Baku Crystal Hall between May 26-28, hosted many international startups, international technology leaders, global investors and multinational companies that find a place in the ecosystem.
A total of 292 applications were received from 32 different countries for the competition within the scope of the Take Off summit. Afterwards, a total of 50 startups from 7 countries were selected for the competition. Startups that passed the preliminary evaluation were entitled to receive masterclass trainings for 1 month before the event. During the Take Off summit, there were a total of 75 startup presentations, more than 100 B2B interviews, 7 keynotes and panelists. At the end of the round, a total of 30 thousand dollars prize was distributed.

Take Off Summit Ranked Startups
At the end of the summit, Recepta, an America-based invoice management platform that gathers all bank and credit transactions in one place, came first. Azerbaijan-based Epoint.az, which serves small and medium-sized businesses as a digital payment and e-commerce platform, came in second. Continuing its work for the multi-filament 3D printing module, the Turkish startup Co Print came in third. In addition to all these, 6 Azerbaijani startups were granted the right to participate in the acceleration program planned to be held in Istanbul by the T3 Enterprise Center.
Lastly, Take Off, which was held in TEKNOFEST Azerbaijan Baku, will return to the country together in October and will be held in Istanbul again. Take Off Istanbul has started to receive startup and mentor applications through the takeoffistanbul.com website.
